What is FPS?– (Coaches Training #1)
This is for anyone who has never coached but is interested, answers questions like “How do I get started with FPS?”.
Thursday, September 18 - 6:00-7:00 p.m. – ESF rooms 3 & 4
Please attend if you will be coaching this year and have never coached before.

Coaches Training #2 –This is for coaches who are new within the last three (3) years.
*Saturday, September 27th , 8:00 – 2:00 ESF rooms 5 & 6
An emphasis on steps 1 – 3 and an overview of steps 4 – 6 – Highly recommended for beginning coaches

PP#1 due on October 17, 2008 – “Olympic Games”

Evaluation Training PP#1 – **Wednesday, Oct. 29, – 8:00 – 3:30 ESF rooms 5 & 6–
*Saturday, November 1, 8:00 – 2:00 ESF rooms 5 & 6.
All coaches must attend one of these days or one of the days in January
It is preferable for new coaches to attend both in October/November and January.

Coaches Training #3 – *Saturday, November 22, 8:00 – 2:00, ESF rooms 5 & 6.
An emphasis on steps 4-6 and a review of steps 1-3.
All new coaches should attend this training. Experienced coaches are invited to attend as well.

PP#2 due on December 31- “Cyber Conflict”

Evaluation Training PP #2 - *Saturday, January 10, 8:00 – 2:00 ESF rooms 5 & 6 and
**Tuesday, January 13, 800 – 3:30 ESF rooms 3 & 4
All coaches must attend one of these days or one of the days in October/November.
If you are a new coach and can’t come to both evaluation trainings, please attend this one.

District Competitions: - “Space Junk”

Senior Division – Friday 2/13/09
Middle Division – Tuesday 2/17/09
Junior Division - Thursday 2/19/09 & Friday 2/20/09

State Competition
Radisson Resort at the Port, Cape Canaveral
March 29 – April 1 “Counterfeit Economy”

*Morning snacks, coffee and lunch will be provided.

** Morning snacks and coffee will be provided. Lunch is available at the ESF cafeteria

***Please be available both days. The day each school competes has not yet been determined.
